Puao has a total area of 907.6 ha (more or less) with areas of Pine and both planted and natural stands of Manuka which the Vendor has indicated have yielded good volumes of Manuka honey with a high UMF factor, the balance being impressive stands of virgin native bush.Puao Forest consists of 345 ha of Pinus radiata with age classes from 2010 to 2017. Parts of the forest both Pine and Native are registered under the ETS with carbon units sitting with it.
There are well developed 4x4 bike tracks throughout the forest which gives access to most parts and to the the recently built cabin.
