Pangani Forest - Waikarakea Road - Maramarua
Pangani Forest is a second rotation forest located on Waikarakea Road in the Maramarua region south of Auckland. Having a titled area of 283.3 ha (more or less) and a net stocked area of approximately 235 ha.Pangani is planted in Pinus Radiata with an age class range of 2018 to 2022 with the last remaining area of the forest being planted this year.
The forest has multiple access points and excellent roading infrastructure within.
Panagani Forest is located only 26 km from the Max Brit sawmill and 38 km from the Claymark sawmill at Kopu. Ports of Auckland which take contanerised logs lies 80km North with the port of Tauranga still an economical 128km away.
Pangani Forest is to be sold by way of two stage tender with the first EOI stage closing 27th May at 12 pm.
